Premise: Ethics are superior to morality. Morality is arbitrary and more matter of prevailing taste then a logical system upon which top base a society. Morality can be anything that enough people agree upon, however absurd. Like saying it is immoral to claim the Earth revolves around the sun. Sounds foolish to us (most of us at least, Kansas I’m looking at you) but people were in fact set on fire for saying so. That is morality at work.
Ethics, on the other hand, are definable quantities based on measurable fact. It is unethical to kill people you don’t like because there will be plenty of people who don’t like you and it would lead to chaos. The better system for higher animals? I would say yes.
